FOOD - Table Talk meets Street Feast

Whatever the food fashion, trend or fad, photography has played an important part in it. After all you eat with your eyes first.

With several years experience photographing for AA Gill's Table Talk review in The Sunday Times' Style magazine, I appreciate a restaurants attempts to compliment the cuisine with ambiance, service, interior design and value, but it is the the final plate presentation that can elevate a dish before it is tasted. Just watch Masterchef.

Street food has learnt similar lessons to expand during this economical crisis. Quality products with original twists, presentation, portion control, price point. After all, the customer generally doesn't get a plate to admire and will usually eat the product stood up.

Here are some shoots from both ends.
